Gnomeo and Juliet

Gnomeo and Juliet a very old story with a new spin and  name.  Written by Shakespeare, in a modern day language. A story about two neighboring gardens gnomes feuding, Montague and Capulet or otherwise known as Red gnomes and Blue gnomes.  Adventure and 3D animation that is very hard to resist.

This hilarious  adventure movie was directed by Kelly Asbury who did a great job putting a new spin on a old story about two neighboring gnomes feuding and how Gnomeo and Juliet played by James McAvoy and Emily Blunt respectfully, were gnomes from different sides of the fence who are going to fall in love.  They will have to overcome a series of obstacles,  especially their parents and an angry lawnmower in order to stay together.

I believe this movie was one of the best animations I have seen, I was blown  away by the story how the idea of simple gnomes can also relate so well to indifference and  become a great  love story.

I love the different personalities that make up the cast, I mean, seeing Jason Statham playing Tybalt was like astonishing and Micheal Cain as Lord Redbrick, Ashley Jensen as Nanette, the cast was great.   The entrance of  Featherstone aka Pink Flamingo played by Jim Cumming, which cause the movie to develop and explain the sense of love lost and that there was hope.

Looks So Real Doesn't it?

Original music by Elton John, Chris Bacon and James Newton Howard  also help in the delivering of the plot.

Although, it was a story known all over the world in different languages and even told in many different ways I believe this way will be remembered forever.  Even garden gnomes can find love on the opposite side of the fence.
