Colombiana
A young woman grows up to be a stone-cold assassin after witnessing her parents' murder as a child in Bogota. She works for her uncle as a assassin , but her personal time is spent engaging in vigilante murders that she hopes will lead her to her ultimate target the man responsible for her parents' death.
Cataleya Restrepo played by Zoe Saldana was a nine year old who was witness to her parents death while living in Colombia. She then during supply and demand brought her way into to the United States and then started living with her uncle who is also a mobster. Young Cataleya decide to confided in her tio Emilio played by Cliff Curtis that her desire to become a HitMan.
Yes, although this movie is about the revenge our lead star craves and she do become a criminal during the movie you found yourselves routing for her all the way. The writers also take the time to not make the character as prefect as we would want her but leaving you thinking how the FBI going to catch her because of the errors she had made. Come on if you going to sign your HITS it's going to catch up to you. She become very successful in her new career. But when her Body count started to spike to quickly, she started getting the atention of some people in high place.
This film I considered to be some what amazing, how a nine year old got away from a bunch of professional mobsters and makes her way to Chicago. While other things hold my interest how Cataleya can get in and out of a building with and problems however, her not knowing that if you go after mobsters they would kill your family was a bit surprising to me. This movie was filled with action, suspense even some hot body scenes. The characters development was incredible and successful and I can say Zoe Saldana was great as the lead role. Colombiana is a movie worth a look
Final Distination V
Survivors of a suspension-bridge collapse learn there's no way you can cheat Death.
I'm a lover of the Final Destination franchise, when I watched the trailer this fifth and final Final Destination I was even more excited, as you can see from my blog I haven't written in awhile due to the prospects of movies that came out this summer, but happy to say that I was surprised by Final Destination 5.
The concept this time around way was great and a lot more fun then it's predecessor, It was just as exciting as the first final destination and the characters felt more genuine. I thought because it was the fifth that it would become lame and repetitive. Love the extra effects and how it flows not feeling unnatural in anyway. Also how the writers climax help bring the franchise full circle and you can not argue with a amazing ending.
Futhermore, although they saying this is the final destination, but the end of this movie give the franchise enough wiggle room to continue. I didn't see this movie the same week it came out , but after seeing it I must say this movie is worth your time especially if you are a fan of any of the other Final Destinations or if you just looking for a movie to be entertaining it a horrific way. Go and see this movie it is truly worth your time.

Owl City
Owl City
Owl City New Album was released in June "All Things Bright and Beautiful".
For the past four weeks I have been listening to the new album by Owl City “All Things Bright and Beautiful” and although some people feels that this album hasn’t impressed then as the first album “Ocean Eyes” in 2009. I believe that this album was as great. It’s a album that takes you on a mystical adventure and that’s what I like about it. The album as a whole can be class as a little adventure from the single “Alligator Sky” ft, Shawn Chrystopher which was playing endless on the radio since April of this year, which graphically peak my interests in this album.
While exploring the album I found my own interest for me was “Honey and The Bee” ft Breanne Duren which a great love song. Other tracks that has impressed me is “Plant Life”, “The Real World”, “Deer in the headlight” and ” The Yacht Club”. The Album isn’t unique because if you remember “Ocean Eyes” was made with the same immaturity as this album but it’s that, what makes it so great. The wording and the lyrical sense of words use to express each track.
Adam Young as a genius he is bringing a new innovation to the pop music and the way it’s written, expressed and sound. I have no idea why this album wouldn’t rank high in the albums of the year. I personally think it’s one of the best.
When you listen to an album like Owl City’s “All Things Bright and Beautiful” It’s an album of emotions and moods of happiness and sadness. Although, it’s taken from many point a view with different character. I love the quirkiness of the album.

The franchise ” The Dark Knight” and “Inception” has been directed by Christopher Nolan, and we can’t wait to see what his vision for “The Dark Knight Rises” especially after ” The Dark Knight ” was a great box office hit in 2008.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon
The biggest summer action movie is transformers: Dark of the moon. If you still watching the trailers please stop because it really haven't done this movie justice. This movie is bigger and better with more action, explosions, and in 3D. According to the box office the movie has Gross a whopping 32.9 million dollar on Friday. And a total of approximately 180 million in six day world wide.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon has made about 50-60 % of its revenue in one weeks but far from the 3 day blowout of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen the take home of 127.9 millions.
Shia LaBeouf returns as Sam Witwicky in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. When a mysterious event from Earth's past explodes into the present day, a menace so big that terrorizes the Earth to bring fought war, which the Transformers may not be able to help save the earth.
The movie was more about the point of view of Sam Witwicky and his employment issues. If you are excited just to see a movie this summer with CG effect, 3D, action, great sound effect, good soundtrack, more cameos than you can count ( Countless) and Rosie Huntington-Whitely who was an improvement from Megan Fox being Sam's new co-star. Then Transformers: Dark of the Moon is the movie for you. It sure makes up for all the missing action movies of the year so far, putting 3D movies at the top of the charts.
Although, I was not captivated by the concept and plot of this movie and was hoping to see more scenes with Bumblebee ( my favorite transformer). I believe the movie could of been much better if it was shorter 157 mins of pure action isn't all that fun with a novice storyline. I my opinion The revenge of the fallen was the better Transformers movie than Dark of the Moon.

Hanna 2011
A 16-year-old who was educated by her father in the outcast of Europe to be the perfect assassin. While being tracked down by a CIA agent and her operatives. I believe this was one of the movies of 2011 that was hyped up than when you see the movie it basically felt like a letdown.
When I went to saw this movie trailer it was amazing thinking it would be like HITMAN with Timothy Oliphant where the story and the concept would draw you in wanting to know more about the lead actor in the movie and the history. Hanna accomplishes some of that but at the end it left you wondering and confused. And then the movie hit a curve and went in a total direction of science fiction movie Species.
The little girl was running away from the CIA agent and then finding out that her father is not her father. Suddenly it ended really fast, people dies and my conclusion was how they could make this movie better if they are planning a second film. This movie is a big disappointment for me due to the fact I was so hyped to see it. The cast was great, brilliant acting but the dilemma was in the concept.
