Owl City

Owl City

Owl City New Album was released in June "All Things Bright and Beautiful".

For the past four weeks I have been listening to the new album by Owl City “All Things Bright and Beautiful” and although some people feels that this album hasn’t impressed then as the first album “Ocean Eyes” in 2009. I believe that this album was as great. It’s a album that takes you on a mystical adventure and that’s what I like about it.  The album as a whole can be class as a little adventure from the single “Alligator Sky” ft, Shawn Chrystopher which was playing endless on the radio since April of this year, which graphically  peak my interests in this album.

While exploring the album I found my own interest for me was “Honey and The Bee” ft Breanne Duren which a great love song.  Other tracks that has impressed me is “Plant Life”, “The Real World”, “Deer in the headlight” and ” The Yacht Club”.  The Album isn’t unique because if you remember “Ocean Eyes” was made with the same immaturity as this album but it’s that, what makes it so great.  The wording and the lyrical sense of words use to express each track.

Adam Young as a genius he is bringing a new innovation to the pop music and the way it’s written, expressed and sound.  I have no idea why this album wouldn’t rank high in the albums of the year.  I personally think it’s one of the best.

When you listen to an album like Owl City’s “All Things Bright and Beautiful”  It’s an album of emotions and moods of happiness and sadness. Although, it’s taken from many point a view with different character. I love the quirkiness of the album.

The trailer can be seen on Youtube, face book and many movie sites and blogs, in which making “The Dark Knight Rises” a great anticipating film for 2012.  The franchise ” The Dark Knight” and “Inception” has been directed by Christopher Nolan, and we can’t wait to see what his vision for “The Dark Knight Rises”  especially after ” The Dark Knight ” was a great box office hit in 2008.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon

The biggest summer action movie is transformers: Dark of the moon.  If you still watching the trailers please stop because it really haven't done this movie justice.  This movie is bigger and better with more action, explosions, and in 3D. According to the box office the movie has Gross a whopping 32.9 million dollar on Friday. And a total of approximately 180 million in six day world wide.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon has made about 50-60 % of its revenue in  one weeks but far from the 3 day blowout of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen the take home of 127.9 millions.

Shia LaBeouf returns as Sam Witwicky in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. When a mysterious event from Earth's past explodes into the present day, a menace so big that terrorizes the Earth to bring fought war, which the Transformers may not be able to help save the earth.

The movie was more about the point of view of  Sam Witwicky and his employment issues. If you are excited just to see a movie this summer with CG effect, 3D, action, great sound effect, good soundtrack, more cameos than you can count ( Countless) and Rosie Huntington-Whitely who was an improvement from Megan Fox being Sam's new co-star. Then Transformers: Dark of the Moon is the movie for you.  It sure makes up for all the missing action movies of the year so far, putting 3D movies at the top of the charts.

Although, I was not captivated by the concept and plot of this movie and was hoping to see more scenes with Bumblebee ( my favorite transformer). I believe the movie could of been much better if it was shorter 157 mins of pure action isn't all that fun with a novice storyline. I my opinion The revenge of the fallen was the better Transformers movie than Dark of the Moon.
